From Chiddingfold on the A283, enter the village and keep the church and pub on your left and continue down The Street for half
a mile where the road changes it name to Rickman's Lane. Continue down the gentle hill and round the blind
corner, Longbourn is on the right hand side. (If you see Bushfield on the left hand side, you have gone too
far - make a quick u-turn!).
Entering the village from the East:
From Loxwood on the B2133, turn right up Plaistow Road and continue on this road for 3 miles all the way in
to Plaistow village. Continue until the t-junction where you will see the church on your right and the Sun Inn
pub on your left. Turn left on to The Street for half a mile where the road changes it name to Rickman's Lane.
Continue down the gentle hill and round the blind corner, Longbourn is on the right hand side. (If you see
Bushfield on the left hand side, you have gone too far - make a quick u-turn!)
Entering the village from the West:
From Petworth on the A283, head north and take a right after the Stonemason's Arms pub, signposted Balls Cross
and Kirdford. Follow this road for 4 miles in to Kirdford village and take a left turn, signposted Plaistow.
Follow the road for 3 miles up a long gradual hill towards the village. You will see a white picket fence on
your left (and a sign for Bushfield on your right). Longbourn is on the left hand side after the white fence.
